The school was selected by Nelspruit Botanical Garden for the Medical Plans Garden Project which started in 2012 at the school. Every year they provide the school with trees which they plant with together with the learners. More than 100 trees and plans have been planted at the school since the inception of the project and the last tree planting visit was on the 12th of December 2013.
